Recently, Afa Flow Control Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AFA) has received exciting news. Our independently developed project "Localization Application of Metal Seated Wear-resistant C-Ball Valve for CHPPO Device" has successfully passed the review of Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province and was successfully selected as a major scientific and technological achievement of Shandong Province. This honor not only demonstrates AFA's outstanding strength in the field of flow control, but also marks that my country has made an important breakthrough in the localization of high-end valves.


Since its establishment, AFA has been committed to the research and development and innovation of flow control technology, especially in the field of metal seated ball valves. The wear-resistant C-ball valve which is selected this time is a high-end valve product developed by the company after a long period of research and development to meet the special needs of the CHPPO unit (isopropylbenzene method to produce propylene oxide). This product not only has excellent wear resistance and sealing performance, but also has the characteristics of flexible operation, compact structure, and easy installation, which fully meets the high requirements of the CHPPO unit for valves.


In the CHPPO device, the metal seated wear-resistant C-ball valve plays a vital role. Due to the extremely harsh working environment of the device, the medium has the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure, flammability and explosion, which puts extremely high requirements on the wear resistance, sealing and reliability of the valve. The wear-resistant C-ball valve of AFA has successfully replaced the imported metal seated wear-resistant C-ball valve products with its excellent performance, effectively solving the problems of difficult opening and closing, poor sealing, large leakage, etc., and providing a strong guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the CHPPO device.


In the petrochemical industry, CHPPO, HPPO, POSM, PTA, MTO, MDI, LNG and other devices all place extremely high demands on valves. Traditional valve products are often difficult to operate stably for a long time under these harsh working conditions, but AFA's wear-resistant C-ball valve has successfully solved this problem with its excellent performance. The successful application of this product not only improves the reliability and safety of the device, but also reduces the operating costs of the enterprise, providing strong support for the sustainable development of the petrochemical industry.


The "Localization Application of Metal Seated Wear-resistant C-Ball Valve for CHPPO Device" project was selected as a major scientific and technological achievement of Shandong Province. It is not only an affirmation of AFA's technological innovation capabilities, but also a reward for the AFA's long-term adherence to independent research and development and promotion of industrial upgrading. This project fills the technical gap of domestic wear-resistant C-ball valves in the domestic coal chemical and petrochemical related fields, and has made positive contributions to promoting the localization of equipment in my country's chemical industry.
