Recently, some good news came from the field of biomass gasification and coal gasification. AFA Flow Control Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “AFA”) stood out in the procurement of supporting equipment for the "Key Technology Research and Industrialization Demonstration Project of the Whole Production Chain of Biodegradable Materials PBAT" (Biomass Gasification Pilot Project) of East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “ECEC”) with its leading technical research and development strength and customized solution capabilities, and won the exclusive bid for the supply order of ultra-high temperature electric top-mounted wear-resistant C-ball valves. It indicates that AFA's technological breakthrough in the field of harsh working condition valves has been highly recognized by the industry, and it has provided key equipment support for China's biomass gasification and coal gasification technology research.



The ultra-high temperature top-mounted wear-resistant C-ball valve that won the bid this time is specially customized for the biomass gasification synthesis gas system. It needs to withstand 750℃ high temperature, high pressure and wear-resistant medium environment for a long time, and has extremely high requirements for the material performance, sealing process and structural design of the product. The AFA's technical team optimized the valve body structure through three-dimensional flow field simulation, and adopted special alloy materials and surface hardening treatment technology to completely solve the industry weak points of easy wear and leakage of valves under ultra-high temperature synthesis gas conditions, ensuring that the valve can achieve "zero leakage" operation under harsh environments. This valve is the first set of ultra-high temperature top-mounted  wear-resistant C-ball valves used in biomass gasification synthesis gas pipelines in China. Its successful research and development marks a major breakthrough in China's high-end valve manufacturing technology in the field of flow control.



The valve uses three major technological innovations: ultra-high temperature sealing technology, intelligent dynamic compensation adjustment algorithm, and special alloy material coating process, all of which are AFA's independent innovation technologies, breaking the foreign technology monopoly. The chairman of AFA emphasized: "This time winning the bid is both recognition and responsibility. We will continue to increase investment in the research and development of core technologies such as special materials and intelligent control, and contribute professional strength to the transformation and upgrading of China's high-end valve manufacturing industry."
